COVID-19 VIRUS (CORONAVIRUS) OPERATIONAL PROCEDURES DURING ” SHELTER IN PLACE” as of March 20,2020

Together, we are facing a truly unprecedented situation. The global coronavirus pandemic is affecting all of our families, our businesses, our communities, and our way of life. Our nation must take this threat seriously, and work together to flatten the curve so that its health and financial impact is lessened and shortened.

During this time, we wanted to reach out and update you on how we’re approaching the situation at Center for Dermatology, Cosmetic and Laser Surgery

Operational Procedures during the Shelter in Place.

With the State and County Mandates of “Shelter in Place”, Center for Dermatology is implementing procedural practices which have been required by the Federal Center for Disease Agency. We are prioritizing patient and staff health and providing the best possible care for all manners of skin disease.  All patients are screened for symptoms of acute respiratory illness, including fever, cough and difficulty breathing.

Appointments

Center for Dermatology will be continue to treat patients in the office.  Patients will be asked to come to the office and check in and then be instructed to wait for their appointment in their automobiles.  When the providers are ready to see the patient, a call will be made to the patient’s cell phone to come into the office.

Please expect delays.  Between appointments, extra disinfecting cleaning procedures of the exam rooms will be performed.

Telephone calls

Telephone calls will be answered as soon as possible.  We have a tremendous increase in the volume of calls received, so please be patient.  All calls/messages will be returned as soon as possible.  Phones will be open between the hours of 8am to 12pm until April 7, 2020.  This applies to both offices.

If you are experiencing a Medical Emergency, please call 911 or go to the Emergency Room.  Any other urgent matters, please page the on-call Provider. 

We appreciate your cooperation  and patience during your visits in our office , as you may experience  some delay due to this truly unprecedented situation.    If you have any cold or flu symptoms please cancel or reschedule your appointment.   

We have your health and the health of our staff as our primary concern.
