Now Available! Teledermatology at Center for Dermatology for Established and New Patients

As we practice social distancing and shelter-in-place in response to the COVID-19 public health emergency, we want you to know that your health remains a priority for us at Center for Dermatology. While we are limiting visits to our offices, we are implementing a teledermatology program so that we may continue to serve our patients during the difficult time.

Many of our services that we provide can be performed through live audio-visual communications. When you make your appointments, please ask about this new service if you are interested.  Dr. Dhawan, Olivia Martinez NP. Patrizia Visconti, PA, are limiting this service to established patients only and for the following established diagnosis: Dermatitis, Eczema, Psoriasis and acne and are currently having a flare up of symptoms.  Dr. Chang is welcoming new patients with simple 1-3 diagnoses, as well as established patients with the above diagnoses.

Please make sure we have an accurate/reliable email to send our teledermatology consent form.  Patients must sign and email form back to confirm appointment. Established patients will be billed at least a 99213 office visit code, new patients will be billed at least a 99203-99204.  It is the patient’s responsibility to confirm that their insurance plan covers the visit.  Our staff will verify eligibility however verifying eligibility does not guarantee benefit coverage, and collect co-payment and/or deductible. If your insurance denies claim, the patient will be responsible for full payment.  Please contact the office for more details.
